So, I recently reached 150, and decided to do a bias list.

First, I would like to give a huge shout out to @uchihasavior/ @hansamunaryu, who is the main reason for me being here. They got me into Overwatch and is to blame for all of this. It all started with them, and they know it. You should be proud of yourself!

      The duo had spent MANY years together, and in that time, Kisame had learned to read Itachi fairly well ( at least he thoughts so ).  Something about his friend’s expression implied DISCONTENT.

            “ Thoughts of Sasuke troubling you? “ he asked, generally curious but also concerned with Itachi’s mental well-being, “ I could check up on him if you’d like. “

      Not that he felt Sasuke NEEDED to be checked upon, he simply couldn’t help but offer the service to try and ease Itachi’s ( aches ) mind.

“I believe he would notice.” Itachi answers in kind, after a few moments of thought. A well endeared offer, but his brother is no amateur, and if Kisame was roaming the earth, surely Itachi was as well. They needed to remain hidden. For their sakes, and the rest of the world’s. 

That was how Itachi felt, at least. He was still slowly coming to terms with Kisame willingly following him. No organization to keep them together, no anger (if rightful) at his deceit during Akatsuki… It was highly undeserved. And yet, Kisame is here.

“I trust in him.” In his strength, in his conviction. Sasuke didn’t need a guardian anymore.
