Hi! Why do you ship Sasuke with Sarada? Not here to hate on you or anything, just interested! :)

I had never considered the ship before. Like, at all. But one morning I’d apparently dreamed I was on the dashboard and a friend of mine who plays Sarada reblogged fanart of it. In my dream it was supposedly NSFW fanart, but I clearly remember what it looked like and it wasn’t NSFW in the least, but brains are weird in dreams. In the dream it was apparently nsfw. One day I’ll recreate it because it’s just a good image for Sarada and Sasuke getting along anyways. 

Right so, my brain was like, “hm there’s probably an obligatory reaction you should have to this” but I thought about it for a moment. …Because I know about GSA, I thought this had potential to work.

So I told my friend about the dream and she concurred and that’s how it started for real. 8I ]]

Sarada is a literal child what is wrong with you?

[[ Okay anon, this one gave me a laugh. I’ll humor you because I want you to see how stupid your logic is. There were ten ships in that list. 

1) Sasuke/Itachi: We have a pairing between blood brothers, with a history of extreme neglect, physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. Both partners are obsessive of each other and have killed other people in an effort to protect the other person. They have a five year age gap, Sasuke would still be thirteen (wow that’s Sarada’s age) when Itachi is 18. Even in part 2, when Itachi is 21, Sasuke would still be 16, which is still a minor.

2) Shisui/Itachi: We have a pairing between two men, who are in the same clan which is a collection of families who pass on their technique genetically, meaning all of them are related to some degree. It is incest by measure. Itachi is 11 years old when Shisui dies. Shisui’s age is unconfirmed except that he’s older than Itachi. Itachi looked up to Shisui so much that if it was in Shisui’s character to try to manipulate him, he could have. 

3) Kisame/Itachi: Kisame is 24 years old when he meets Itachi. Itachi is 13 (hey neat that’s Sarada’s age…) That is an eleven year difference and Itachi stays a minor until part 1 of Naruto, when he is 18 years old. Itachi also calls the shots in the relationship, I guess that’s manipulation and not an equal balance, we can’t ship this anymore 8/

4 and 5) Sasuke/Orochimaru and Itachi/Orochimaru: In both cases, Orochimaru is well old enough to be both the boy’s parents. Orochimaru has attacked and manipulated Sasuke and has attempted to do the same to Itachi. He meets them both when they’re 13 (hey that’s Sarada’s age!!). Neither relationship, if realized, would be healthy for either parties, and in most cases is timeline-doomed.

6) Sasuke/Karin: they first meet when they’re both kids, in chuunin exams. Almost like that’s Sarada’s age. There’s not much of an age gap but holy shit did we forget that Sasuke tried to kill her once? And Karin’s always coming onto him, ew, gross, how can anyone support that kind of behavior.

7) Kakashi/Sakura: Kakashi is 26 going on 27 in part 1. Sakura is 12-13 (isn’t that Sarada’s age?) That’s 13 years apart! Wow holy moley, I could never consider 99% of its fandom ships Sakura with Kakashi exclusively when she’s older, didn’t you know people introduced as children stay children forever? He’s also her teacher and default in a position of power over her, that’s extra problematic points.

8) Itachi/Hinata: 5 year age gap. She’ll be 13( Sarada’s age!!) when he’s 18. How could anyone in their right mind consider this? She also has no backbone, she’s always going to be manipulated. 8/

9) Itachi/Izumi: She’s older than him by a year. Also an Uchiha, that dirty, dirty incest. 

10) Yet this is what you take issue with??

What’s your view on people who harass writers on how they depict a certain character even though the character in particular was left completely vague where they are completely left up interpretation on what they could be like?

[[ It’s never ok to harass another writer, not over anything. Even when they’re being blatantly ooc on well known characters. 

Complain about it on your own space, to your friends in IM groups or whatever, but leave the author alone. If the author asks for criticism then give it, but there’s a BIG difference between legitimate criticism and using it as an excuse to tell the writer you think they suck. 

If they didn’t ask for criticism, leave them alone, full stop. ]]
