Pitching in on Obito supplying Itachi’s medicine, I don’t think Obito was Itachi’s supplier but somehow he was very aware of Itachi’s source. In Naruto Jinraiden: The Day the Wolf Howled, he directs Sasuke to some village where Itachi got his meds and his supplier spoke about Itachi being the one to come in and get the meds.

Of course, that sounds silly to me, that Itachi would have to make a return trip to this out-of-the-way village everytime he wanted a refill on his medication. And if I am remembering correctly, Kisame is not mentioned?

Neither of them will hurt each other on regular terms. As far as Shisui dying, though…

I again reiterate this strength isn’t healthy but I think they’re equal in this regard.

…Man, Shisui could really fuck him up by saying something like his dream is stupid and he’ll never achieve it. But Shisui’s really kind and really supportive so he’d never. But Shisui does have more ground here, Itachi looks up to him and values his input. Shisui could crush him.

As far as canon goes they’ve never argued. But I think if they did, both would apologize.

I’d say neither, they never really actually got hurt around each other. But if they did, they’d share this responsibility equally.

In your honest opinion, do you think Itachi’s generally good intentions overall absolve him from the damage he did to Sasuke’s psyche and, as a result, the damage Sasuke could’ve caused to the Elemental Nations? Do you think Itachi still has the right to claim he loves Sasuke after all he’s done to hurt him? (Please note that this isn’t to dig on Itachi so much as for me to hear your own thoughts on his actions.)
[[ Well, let’s go over it point by point. Also, I don’t mind when people criticize Itachi, he’s not exempt form it. My exception is when someone clearly isn’t looking at the whole picture and just wants to bitch. You can criticize a character while still liking them.

He thought that torturing Sasuke and leading Sasuke into thinking he was the villain was going to be good for Sasuke in the end. He recognizes this is wrong. This is why in chapters 588-590, he doesn’t excuse himself. He doesn’t say things like “but I meant well”, and so on. He knows it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t erase the damage he caused. Sasuke will have to live with that forever. ]]

The reason why I say yes is that Itachi fully admits his mistake and makes no excuses. He loves him for real. He’s willing to let Sasuke go, or to let Sasuke reject him. ]]
