8. Should all people be treated as equal, and have the same rights?

“Yes…” yet the answer trails off, stuck thinking about the particulars of this question. He knows what his Father is referencing, and Itachi’s digging up examples of where clan members wanted more than just equal treatment. 

It is so difficult to speak to his Father about this, knowing what Itachi doomed them to when he thought himself smarter and capable, and more wised. A few bad apples shouldn’t dictate opinion of the entire populace, and yet Itachi had judged.

He was so young, he just kept making excuses. That it wasn’t because he was Uchiha, it was because of his age. That any discrimination to him didn’t count. That he should hide things from his clan because they would get angry.

The fight for equality shouldn’t include violence and death, his subconscious tells him, but he knows that’s just a foolish dream. Sometimes, it has to.

He awaits his Father’s judgement.

4. How do you know when you’re in love? (romantic or platonic)

“When you would go out of your way to protect them. When they mean more than you do.”

12. Is it right to have an intimate relationship with somebody you don’t love?

“I suppose that depends on the reason why. If it is to appease others, mm…perhaps.”

15. Would you always be loyal to your loved ones even if they wronged you?

“Only one person carries that kind of power. I would not let others wrong me.”

19. Could you ever forgive your worst enemy?

“If they realized their mistakes, and made an effort to change. I could extend my hand as well.”

[[ I really don’t get the imaginary war over “stolen” headcanons. Especially between people who play the same character. Ever since June 2013 when I started this thing, and started to re-read the manga to catch up on what had happened to Itachi.

I was excited to figure Itachi out again, I was excited to fill in the gaps that canon couldn’t. Not once did I ever think that people shouldn’t learn from me, or adapt my ideas to their own Itachi blogs. I was glad to. I felt pride when someone adapted how I wrote Itachi, or a couple of my headcanons, because I worked (and still do) to keep Itachi’s personality and morals as close to canon as possible regarding what given timeline or AU he’s placed in. 

It just seemed…idk, it was this weird divide. Suddenly, it was mandatory for everyone to play the canon character different, to be ~unique~, so you got really wild OOC interpretations in the name of trying to avoid being accused of theft.  

Also as for icons, the war over icons was always :/ to me. If the icons are screencaps or mangacaps who cares if someone right clicks and saves it and uses it again? You’re telling me that texture you slapped on (which I’ve done the same thing, I know it takes 10 seconds.) makes it wholly yours? Pssh.

I actually followed a blog who had right click and Ctrl disabled on their blog to “prevent” icon theft. So I took their icons right off the dashboard. I don’t play this character, I never planned on using the icons,  but I wanted to prove I could take them regardless of the measures they put up. The only way to ensure your icons don’t get “stolen” is to not use any at all. ]]

Uzumaki Naruto is a bad person. Uzumaki Naruto is not a good leader, nor is he a good friend, especially to Sasuke. He’s actually harmful to Sasuke as a whole, and Naruto’s part of why Sakura’s development started rolling backwards during the Land of Iron Arc. 

And I really, really, really hate NaruSasu. ]]

[[ Container themes with the little..spakles/random symbols which I’m supposed to guess are links are the work of Satan.

Also icons with heavy filters/textures. The point of an icon is for me to see what expression your character is making, I can’t make anything out of a textured blob.

Also people who put their blog initials on icons made out of other people’s fanart. Hey thanks for participating in art theft. ]]

  • Itachi don’t give a shit about his personal hygiene in Akatsuki.
  • Get out of here with an arrogant/haughty Itachi that isn’t faking the attitude.
  • “Itachi judges Sasuke’s life choices from heaven” No you need to stop projecting your dislike of Sasuke through Itachi.
  • “Goofball Shisui” Now, Shisui’s a little looser than Itachi, and friendly, and likely good with people. But he’s not a fucking idiot. He’s not bumbling around drunk or pulling Naruto brand™ stupid stunts. He’s a genius too and he’s dedicated. He’s not Naruto with an Uchiha label slapped on, hfhfhf.

[[ Echo I h8 u I’m only doing one. 

This is probably still a problem but I seem to have tailored my dashboard so I see less of it. Anyways, the idea that everyone’s personal interpretation of a character is “valid” is just riddled with issues.

Firstly, it’s a blanket statement. Second, it’s….objectively not true? Canon does exist for a reason, it’s there to outline what the character is like. Who they are, what they like, etc and so on.

This isn’t to say people can’t interpret characters differently and play them how they like, but it is to say stop trying to coddle yourself and just admit you want to play them like X or that they’re OOC. You’re not a bad person, you’re not a bad writer, you just want to write differently, and the sooner you can admit that the more fun you can have with your own personal take; just don’t pretend it’s IC. ]]

[[ I don’t like blogs that are 99% (or 100%) smut. I like smut, I like writing smut, but in my opinion there is smut that makes sense and smut that’s just for the sake of smut. …I wrote that word too many times, and now it doesn’t make sense.

Anyways, I like to read good smut as well, so smut that clearly doesn’t have any effort  put into it is…why. I don’t care if people write it on sunday because that’s the ~day~ for it, but if that’s the majority of your blog content man, I am not the blog for you, but you keep having fun. ]]
