(You +liked for an ask) (idk, I guess our No Limits verse?) “Ku ku ku… I dislike that you’re mad at me, but I must say, you look so hot right now you’re giving me chills.” The cause was the mean stare, and Orochimaru couldn’t take his eyes off Itachi. He approached, his fingers itching to touch. He leaned forward as if in a bow, offering his beautiful face. All he wanted was his Favorite to touch him. “I suppose I will be leaving here with either a black eye or a hickey. Your choice, my dear.”

‘Mad’ was an understatement.

Itachi’s stomach turned when he saw Orochimaru now. 

He’d been so stupid. So brazenly trusting. To think he had a measure of control the whole time… all that vulnerability…it had to have been staged. 

And now Itachi was paying the price. 

There had been no warning. No request for permission. No discussion on what this mark was going to do to his body, on how it was going to taint his chakra signature; attach itself in ways Itachi could not hope to get rid of.

Now, not even his time in his quarters was to himself. Orochimaru could hear him through the mark, ever-present even when his body was not. 

It also meant he couldn’t get away with lax punishment anymore.

But he’s stubborn. He doesn’t want to fall into traps anymore, not with his trust already so well-shattered. 

Itachi will take his chances, knowing he already has to keep himself steady, so the mark doesn’t feed off of his anger, and disgust. He pulls away, and leans himself off of the table, choosing to side-step and hopefully exit the room in one piece. 

Do you think itachi and sasuke can grow a beard?

[[ Mmm, I’d say this one is partly up to personal interpretation. 

But let me list some things and you can take away what you want from it–?

As for my answer, I really have two opinions on this? On the one hand, I believe they do grow facial hair but like East Asian men (as they seem to heavily resemble/be modeled after), the hair is really thin, doesn’t grow fast, and can be shaved off with ease. 

Then I just think no they can’t because Kishi didn’t want to have to deal with it and wouldn’t think facial hair would add any quality to their appearance/doesn’t need to show age via facial hair, so it’s just because he didn’t feel like it. 

So one in-universe reason and one out-of-universe design reason.

As for the other stuff– there are lots of men in Naruto with facial hair. Some didn’t start out with it and some have it in later designs (Chojuro and Kiba and Shikamaru as just three examples of facial hair in later designs). 

Some have it because it shows a certain type of character design (A, Darui, Ohnoki), etc. 

I’ve seen background Uchiha in the  manga panels with facial hair, so in-universe it’s perfectly possible Uchiha can grow facial hair, I just don’t try to think on it too deep because it’s likely mainly a design thing. Even Fugaku didn’t have facial hair.

Itachi’s days were primarily one, repetitive routine. 

So– he finds it quite hard to believe Orochimaru-sama was not aware he was changing out of his dirty and sweaty training clothes.

But he elects no answer, instead; Itachi lifts his shirt clean off his head, leaving it bunched around his wrists for a moment, looking at Orochimaru, even if he doesn’t go for straight eye contact.

He’s learning. Dangerously fast. Orochimaru has a hunger for his body which he can easily take advantage of. 

“Have you come to see the results of my training?” And it doesn’t stop at simply letting him look.
