Do you ever ship with Sasuke? If chemistry is right or is that a muse you never ship?

[[ Uhh, I ship with Sasuke a LOT. I just haven’t had any Sasuke RPs lately, which will happen. I’m never going to actively reject one, though, Itachi and I love Sasuke too much. I also have a shit-ton of Sasuke and Itasasu in my queue, anyways.

I’m guessing you’re new, because Sasuke will never fall into a list of “muses I refuse to ship with.” The idea alone is so foreign, lol.]]

20. (Making up my own question) After rping as Itachi, do you have a different perspective on canon? Like do you like the way canon! Itachi is verse your own interpretation?

[[ Err— small problem there. There is no “my interpretation” vs “canon.” I play what’s in canon.

Minus the obvious exceptions like specific verses, AUs, “stuff where we take the timeline and fuck it in the ass”, etc, if I’m playing him default, then I am playing his hard personality in canon. I don’t make up my own stuff if I’m playing him from canon.

And even when I do make different verses, or fork away from the canon timeline (IE, “what if x happened instead of y”) I seriously take into account how the change would affect Itachi, and how little, or how much, it would affect his canon behavior, ethics, and morals. I am not actually a fan of the concept of “personal interpretation,” as I often see it as an excuse to play a character as the total opposite of who they are in canon. ]]

15: Would you like your muse as a person if you met them in real life?

[[ Yes, but– that’s because I’m already conditioned to like him. I know who he is, and I already like him to begin with.

If I didn’t know who he was, but met someone just like him, it might not be the same. ]]

16: In what ways are you better than your muse? In what ways are they better than you?

[[ I can cook, for one. I can also clean and I sleep well enough, and don’t overwork myself.

Itachi can do all that neat ninja stuff. ]]

17: Why do you think you connect to your muse?

[[ Uhh. Lol. Nowadays we connect over our love for Sasuke. Back then I just had a good grasp on him…because. Now I have a good grasp and we both love Sasuke to bits. ]]

Naruto swings his feet back and forth, kicking up dust every once in a while. “Ne ne Itachi,” he says curiously, “what happens to the people who are left behind when someone dies?” Rubbing his cheek, he looks at the ground. “I saw lots of people by the place where lots of graves are.” Naruto picks up his gaze and looks to the older Uchiha. “Old man third too busy to give me an answer, do ya got one?”

“That..depends. On who they were, and the resources they provided.” Itachi’s answer is a bit too technical. He hadn’t lost anyone through death before. But really, the answer could be a number of things. It all differed whether it was a parent, or a sibling, or someone who was a sole provider.

“Usually they get by.” That was what had to happen. Shisui was going to lose his Father soon, and he simply had to keep going.

Sasuke sneaked back to the kitchen after being ushered to bed by his mother. He took out the dango his mother put away. Though he fell asleep at the table, waiting for Itachi. He didn’t even stir at his brother’s arrival.

He isn’t in his bedroom…

Had he passed him? Itachi gets suspicious, back tracking his way through the house, halting at the kitchen when he finally catches sight of Sasuke.

…Okay, he’s safe. That’s good. The dough might be soft, but Itachi lifts one of the sticks of dango and pops the top portion into his mouth, then moves to pull Sasuke out of the chair, and into his arms.

Sasuke needs to actually sleep in his proper bed. Itachi will help him get there.

Sasuke looks out the window, the darkening sky tells him he’s been waiting for a few hours now. Aniki should’ve been home by now, did he get a mission last minute? Slumping forward he looks at his almost finished homework then at the plate of dangos he bought from his aunt’s shop. Sasuke piles his arms on the table and rests his head on them. He’s determined to wait for his big brother.

All Itachi does these days is make excuses. Excuses for his clan, excuses for his missions, …excuses for his brother.

How he wishes he had the freedom to spend his days with him. To prove, without a doubt, that he loved him just as much. But this worsening tension has him re-arranging his priorities, and the most he can do is keep Sasuke in the dark, and therefore, safe.

Itachi returns hours later than anticipated, and midnight is not too far off. His legs are heavy on the boards of their house, all too ready for what would only be a few hours of sleep before resuming another day filled with surveillance.

He stops, at the door to Sasuke’s room. Closes his eyes, and listens, before sliding the door open with care and peeking in. With any luck, Sasuke will be asleep…
