when people call sasuke whiny… i often wonder if we even read the same manga. or did they just… completely miss his tragic bg.

[[ It’s In Fashion™ to hate Sasuke for things they fawn over other characters for.

But to put it simply.

They’re angry he can’t just “shrug off” his trauma like they think Naruto does.

Naruto is their “sunshine boy” or “eternally happy” and Sasuke is basically the opposite, thus Sasuke’s being ~le dramatic~ because he just can’t get over it.

(FYI, anyone who thinks Naruto was handling his stuff fine apparently forgot about Dark Naruto. Or like, his barely restrained anger during most of part 1.) ]]

Sasuke is a heavy, heavy weight on him.

If it is not his literal body atop him, clutching him like his life depended on it even in sleep, then it is the weight of what they had committed.

He’s covered in bruises, and bite marks. They are so fresh Itachi’s convinced for a few moments that he’s covered entirely head to toe.

Marked.

Claimed.

As if his deeds were not enough, Sasuke had given him a physical reminder of whom he belonged to.

…Itachi cannot find the will to get up.

And despite what they’d just done the night before (after months of tension, and fighting with Itachi’s awful schedule) ….she’s shy.

Wy pulls the blankets up to hide her nudity, and Itachi politely averts his eyes. He’ll rise, get a quick bath, and get ready for the day.

That was…something.

Itachi wakes several hours past sunrise, a warmth in his joints and muscles. The sheets are askew, his shirt is gone– actually, all his clothing is gone.

For a few seconds he panics, because beside him is the Lucian that’s been befriending him for some time. Then, he remembers he has had his own quarters in the district for about a year or so. The chances of getting discovered are slim.

Was this…normal, where he came from? Could Itachi even debate that, considering the night before?

“…Noctis.” He tries to wake him, a hand on his shoulder.

It’s much more difficult than it looks.

Hello! I saw that post with that guy/gal and my opinion is… well, if he or she doesn’t like the pairing, why harass other people? Just block. Ah, but enough of this, I have a question: if – IF someone or, various people managed to stop the coup convincing the Uchiha to not rebel at all, what do you think Itachi will do?

[[ Asking antis to use common sense is unfortunately pointless. They live in a world where if you don’t like something, as inane as fictional shipping, you try to run the person off the website completely instead of using a block button.

In fact, this person was asked specifically about blocking, and apparently, in their eyes, blocking is “ignoring” the issue. They’d apparently much rather harass a user off the website and then feel good about themselves, like the assholes that they are. 

As for your other question, if the coup was stopped without violence, Itachi would more or less try to step down from his double-spy position and just continue his original dream, which was to reach Hokage and beyond and bring world peace. Not to say that’s 100% completely possible for him, but he’d definitely absolutely try. 

Of course, the situation is unfair. They do deserve to rebel. If Danzo’s still alive he’ll be pissed, and he will purposely agitate the Uchiha into rebelling so he can claim they’re dangerous. So it boils down to the specific circumstances in which the coup is avoided– the only way to stop it for sure IMO is Danzo being dead, Hiruzen not being the 3rd, Minato still being alive, and Obito dying. ]]
