[[ Itachi is very much a morning person. He rises early so he can get the most out of the day, so most of his work is done during the day. This doesn’t mean he’s incapable of working throughout the night, however. Itachi relaxes more at night.

Me…I’m mixed. I do get up early but that’s because of work. The time of day I get work done wildly fluctuates depending on if I’ve had enough sleep. Wednesdays I’m fucking useless, even though I nap in the morning to try to recover from my night shift the night before. I relax on the weekends. ]]

[[ For Itachi, it’s clan pride that refuses to back down for other forms of thought, and people who dislike Sasuke for the wrong reasons. Also these days he is actually getting fed up of Uchiha discrimination. Too many CAH games where people bitch about the Uchiha for no godamn reason other than they exist. 

For me, it’s a variety of things. From the above listed, to internet not working, to losing my tablet pen for 30 minutes…. 8I ]]

Itachi wants to think he can’t believe it.

But he can, actually. 

He never liked Yashiro. He was always the loudest and most aggressive of all of them. And it only got worse after his Father’s passing and Itachi’s induction as clan head.

Itachi hated violence. But he’d refused to bow down to Yashiro, citing that his age didn’t give him any more swaying power in the clan’s affairs.

The man was a coward at heart, but apparently he wasn’t bluffing when he said he’d like to deck Itachi. 

And like the non-violent idiot that he is, Itachi actually took the full punch.

He knows, he knows, spitting a mixture of blood and saliva into the kerchief his wife gave him a few minutes ago. His mother is on his way, and though she isn’t a trained medic, she does keep all manner of supplies on her. 

Maybe Yashiro would straighten himself out if Itachi fired him, or moved him to the back during clan meetings. But that would be exercising too much power, and as angry as he was right now, he still thought he could just talk the man down.

Stupid.
