((this new chapter and the reveal Sasuke is regularly “in” on the shady parts of the shinobi system (enough his name is feared) makes me think he contacts Orochimaru p often, while I’m on this kick. Like an informant/informee relationship. Like in the novel. Except after he’s built enough of a name for himself he can stop going to Orochimaru but still gets advice from him now and then.))
