“It’s because of me.” He begins, quiet, but calm. He knows what Sasuke is asking, and Sasuke deserves an answer that won’t put the blame on him.

“I sought to protect you. To protect the innocence I saw. Given my position, and what Danzo was trying to get me to agree to, he saw it fitting to wager with your life.” He knew how ugly it was. That Itachi was willing to kill other children just in Sasuke’s position.

It was Itachi’s fault. 

Why does no one call Salad by her name? It’s Salad.

[[ That’s kind of a non-complaint. It’s Salad, but they can’t pronounce it, so it’s “Sarada.” Just like Boruto is technically Bolt, but everyone calls him Boruto. It’s…a non-issue. Those who wanna call them Salad/Bolt will, and those who don’t want to, or think the other names sound better, won’t. ]]

Hi! Why do you ship Sasuke with Sarada? Not here to hate on you or anything, just interested! :)

[[ It came to me in a dream.

No lie–

I had never considered the ship before. Like, at all. But one morning I’d apparently dreamed I was on the dashboard and a friend of mine who plays Sarada reblogged fanart of it. In my dream it was supposedly NSFW fanart, but I clearly remember what it looked like and it wasn’t NSFW in the least, but brains are weird in dreams. In the dream it was apparently nsfw. One day I’ll recreate it because it’s just a good image for Sarada and Sasuke getting along anyways. 

Right so, my brain was like, “hm there’s probably an obligatory reaction you should have to this” but I thought about it for a moment. …Because I know about GSA, I thought this had potential to work.

So I told my friend about the dream and she concurred and that’s how it started for real. 8I ]]

I feel like the issue people have with underage ships is groupthink and the inability to tell fantasy from reality. People may relate to those characters / see themselves in those characters and so take extreme offense when they see controversial content. As far as I know these things haven’t been a problem till now when the fandom brought this to mainstream and endorsed radicalism and call out culture. When your whole life is based around the Internet and fiction it’s hard to see reality.

[[ Like I said before, the group who thinks what fictitious content you enjoy directly relates to what you endorse irl really needs to get off the internet.

Remember when we all collectively made fun of Christian/super religious mothers for thinking things like Pokemon or Harry Potter were demonic and forbade their children from reading them? Remember when we all collectively knew video games did not create violent behavior?

We need to go back to that. We have all these young teenagers who think they know exactly how the world works and sound exactly like ultra conservative religious parents. ]]
